Olivier is the director of FRONTIER, the frontotemporal dementia clinical research group based at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney. He is a registered clinical neuropsychologist with over 15 years experience in the field of human cognition and younger-onset dementia syndromes. He has a background in psychology, cognitive and clinical neurosciences, complemented by board approved clinical training in neuropsychology. He leads a research group of ~25 staff/students investigating early manifestations and progression of younger-onset dementia syndromes. Olivier’s work uses convergent methodologies, which include behavioural, clinical, cognitive, neuroimaging, physiological, genetics and neuropathological investigations. He has published > 270 peer-reviewed articles, the majority in top tier scientific journals, as well as 12 book chapters.
